Bundles: Complementary Products
This guide walks you through creating a Complementary Products bundle deal via SAP BackOffice — customers buy Product A and receive a discount on Product B; pick the reward type that fits: percentage or fixed discount.
Create the Promotion
- In Okta SSO, click SAP BackOffice → Marketing → Promotion Templates → Click on the binoculars icon → Search
- Refer to the table below for the right template - copy the template name to search for it

- Once found, click + → Create a unique code for the promotion → OK

Basic Promotion Information
For Name and Description, click on the globe icon to enter the Mandarin (ZH) version. No Mandarin version available? Copy the English text over.
- Schedule: Fill in the Start Date/Time and End Date/Time.
- Description: Up to 150 characters. E.g., Buy any 2 selected products and get X% off. Promotion ends DD Month YYYY.
- Shop: Select your Shop.
- Promotion Banner: 840 x 560 pixels.
Uploading a Banner - Name: Up to 50 characters. E.g., Buy any 2 selected products and get X% off
Promotion Details - Click Save then go to the Conditions & Actions Tab.
Complementary Products Condition
- Container ID: Input a code for the first product. E.g., ProductA
- Click on Qualifying Offers
- Offers: Include the #mp of Product A qualifying for the promotion.
Product Criteria: Product A - Container ID: Input a code for the second product. E.g., ProductB
- Click on Qualifying Offers
- Offers: Include the #mp of Product B qualifying for the promotion.
Product Criteria: Product B
Selling via WeChat Mini Program? To limit this promotion to one platform, add the Qualifying by Channel condition (see Available Conditions panel). Select the Channel Type.
Discount Settings
Buy Product A, Get $X off Product B
- Click on Fixed discount on partner products.
- Absolute discount value:
- 1st Box: Select the currency.
- 2nd Box: Enter the discount amount.
- Qualifying product containers:
- 1st Box: Input Container ID E.g., ProductA
- 2nd Box: Input 1
- Target product containers:
- 1st Box: Input Container ID E.g., ProductB
- 2nd Box: Input 1
- Click Save, then the paper aeroplane icon to publish. Confirm the status changes from Unpublished to Published.
Buy Product A, Get X% off Product B
- Click Percentage discount on partner products
- Percentage discount value: Enter the discount amount.
- Qualifying product containers
- 1st Box: Input Container ID E.g., ProductA
- 2nd Box: Input 1
- Target product containers:
- 1st Box: Input Container ID E.g., ProductB
- 2nd Box: Input 1
- Click Save, then the paper aeroplane icon to publish. Confirm the status changes from Unpublished to Published.

- If the promotion banner was appended, please contact us via the Merchant Service Desk (via Okta SSO) for banner approval.
